Ten Seconds

A film about people and about a city lost in time and space. About how quickly life can change, and how even after the irreparable there are things that remain unchanged. The film is based on the events that result from the shelling of the residential quarter "Eastern" of the city of Mariupol on January 24, 2015. The shelling was carried out from the "Grad" multiple rocket launcher systems from the territory occupied by pro-Russian militants.

Yuliia Hontaruk

Yuliia Hontaruk was born in 1987. She studied film directing at the State University of Theater, Cinema and Television. Since 2013, she has been a member of the National Union of Cinematographers in Ukraine. With the start of the Euromaidan protests, Yuliia became one of the founders of the creative association Babylon'13. She directed more than 35 documentaries for Babylon'13. Yuliia's films have been screened at IDFA, Ji.hlava IDFF, and Trieste IDFF.
